- Assuming this article is kept (it's tagged), it should be at Spark Ignition Direct Injection (currently a redirect) per WP:ABREV. But I notice this move request was originally put on the article page itself, not on this talk page; perhaps the proposer intended to propose a merger into Gasoline direct injection? Merge to Gasoline direct injection
This article has been prodded for deletion and there was a brief movereq (the archive of which is available above). It was suggested that this article should be merged into Gasoline direct injection somehow (even if only through a redirect?). I dont' personally know enough about the subject to have an informed opinion on the feasibility of such a merger, but it seems to make sense to me.

Different Technology
This is a different technology, based on Gasoline direct injection, if you look at Gasoline direct injection there are nothin about SIDI there, So i think it's better to make a separate page about it. --MJKubba|talk|contributions 16:09, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- Is it different from Direct Injection Spark Ignition (DISI), which has long redirected to Gasoline direct injection, where it's mentioned in relation to the 2001 Ford and 2005 Mazda? SIDI (disambiguation) says they are the same (could be wrong of course). If different from but based on gasoline direct injection, does it make more sense to add a section there, since there were only a couple of sentences here and it could be confused with DISI?
