Template:Delaware road map
Delaware road map is a template that generates a reference for an official road map of Delaware produced by the Delaware State Highway Department, the Delaware Department of Highways and Transportation, or the Delaware Department of Transportation. The official maps that can be used with this template are available at this page.
Usage
This template has one required parameter:
- year: a four-digit year between 1920 and 2017. For map editions that features more than one year, such as 1936–1937, use the first year (1936) in the field.
This template has four optional parameters:
- link: to link the appropriate state agency
- section or sections: one or more map grid sections. On most maps, sections are reference by a letter followed by a number, such as A2. This parameter is used to provide a more specific indication of what part of the map was used. Not all state maps have explicit grid sections.
- inset: one or more areas that are not part of the main map but show a smaller scale version of an area, such as a major city. Example: Northern New Castle County
- access-date: the date the map was accessed online.
- mode: the template uses {{cite map}} as a base, and so it falls into the Citation Style 1 scheme of templates. Set this parameter to "cs2" to emulate the Citation Style 2 scheme used by {{citation}}.
- ref: for use with shortened footnotes, such as {{harvnb}} or {{harvp}}.
