Template talk:Characters in the Iliad
HelenUh, I know this sounds counterintuitive since she's called "Helen of Troy," but Helen was actually "Greek," or rather Spartan — the whole point is that she was a Greek woman kidnapped or seduced by a Trojan man and taken to Troy, causing the Greek forces to come after her. Definitely not a Trojan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.13.165.68 (talk) 02:22, 9 September 2010 (UTC) Iliad vs. Trojan WarIs this Template based strictly on Homer's Iliad? If yes, then certain participants should not be included, such as Palamedes, who was never mentioned by Homer. --Odysses (₪) 00:36, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
Neoptolemus was in the Iliad?I read The Iliad about nine years ago and don't recall Neoptolomus' name even being mentioned in the book. I don't recall even knowing that Achilles had a son until I read further into Greek mythology. That being said, am I completely wrong here? If not, then Neoptolomus' name should be removed from this template. Darwin's Bulldog (talk) 01:43, 28 September 2011 (UTC) |
