I see that the 1660 recreation this Dukedom for the Howards continues with the numbering used by the previous Howards. Shouldn't these therefore be combined into a single row? In a similar way, the 3rd Duke had his Dukedom suspended for a few years, yet we combine his two periods into one entry. I'm going to be bold and do this now; if it violates some standard for nobles, then by all means change it back. But it makes sense to me. —Toby Bartels (talk) 08:53, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2009-02-09T08:53:00.000Z","author":"Toby Bartels","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Toby_Bartels-2009-02-09T08:53:00.000Z-House_of_Howard","replies":[]}}-->
I have removed this template from Category:English royal house navigational boxes. There has never been a royal house of Norfolk nor of Howard or Mowbray although members of those families have been related to English and British monarchs. While Margaret, Duchess of Norfolk and Richard of Shrewsbury were members of the House of Plantagenet, it does not follow that this makes all Dukes of Norfolk members of a royal house, so the category is not appropriate for this template.
