The edit summary "says who ?" when sean reverted greyshark's edit was hardly a good reasoning. Greyshark removed links to political issues on this template, which is just an administrative body. Lots of places discuss the politics, like West Bank and Israeli settlement.
Repeating the same information on every somewhat related article takes away from the focus and could be perceived as adding undue weight to one viewpoint in an already controversial area.
