I put the metropolitan regions on a separate line from the physiographic regions to show that difference. jaknouse 02:04, 21 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I don't think that Newburg, Pleasure Ridge and Valley Station belong on the list. They should only be referenced from Louisville or Louisville metropolitan area. jaknouse 17:57, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2004-05-03T17:57:00.000Z","author":"Jaknouse","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Jaknouse-2004-05-03T17:57:00.000Z-Metropolitan_regions","replies":[]}}-->

"Northern Kentucky" is not a valid geographic region in the sense of the others. It's really the same as the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky metropolitan area. It appears we have duplicated, parallel articles here. jaknouse 14:25, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2004-05-04T14:25:00.000Z","author":"Jaknouse","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Jaknouse-2004-05-04T14:25:00.000Z-Metropolitan_regions","replies":[]}}-->

Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. states/state templates lists and displays all 50 U.S. state (and additional other) templates. It potentially can be used for ideas and standardization. //MrD9 07:16, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2006-03-19T07:16:00.000Z","author":"MrD9","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-MrD9-2006-03-19T07:16:00.000Z-U.S._state_templates","replies":[]}}-->

There is currently an ongoing discussion regarding standardization of state templates (primarily regarding layout and styling) at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. states/state templates. An effort was made earlier this year to standardize Canadian province templates (which mostly succeeded). Lovelac7 and I have already begun standardizing all state templates. If you have any concerns, they should be directed toward the discussion page for state template standardization. Maybe we should consider a cutoff point for inclusion in this list. Maybe pick a number, 25. Currently, the list includes 28 cities. Of course, if there's a reasoning for including all 28, we could discuss that as well. Stevie is the man! Now, we're at 31 "largest cities". What is the criteria for inclusion? Stevie is the man!
