I left out the tolar and tala one this but added rixdalars and dalars, so , dont know which way is best. I don't think Thalers alone would take some out of the dollar one to shorten it. I was thinkin a {{Dollar varient}} instead. I removed the dalers because I feel that they should belong to one nav box to avoid confusion. --ChoChoPK (ēēPK) (talk | contrib) 09:06, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2006-09-03T09:06:00.000Z","author":"Chochopk","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Chochopk-2006-09-03T09:06:00.000Z-Searchme-2006-08-30T13:58:00.000Z","replies":[]}}-->
"thalers" pre-1800 (and in most cases, pre-1871) are not "a currency", they are a type of silver coin.
If there was any standard "currency" in which the value of other coins was expressed, this would have been the shilling.
A "thaler" is simply a large silver coin worth a set amount of shillings (depending on time and place e.g. 48 shilling, or 72 shilling).
