On March 23, 1997 he was appointed ambassador in Katmandu , where he was accredited form August 6, 1998 to 2000 .[ 2]
From 2000 to 2002 he was ambassador in New Delhi .
In 2002 he was ambassador in Pretoria .[ 3]
From 2002 to 2006 he was ambassador in Hanoi .[ 4]
From 2008 to June 7, 2013 ambassador in Kuala Lumpur .[ 5]
