AMbot
AMbot is a bot which helps with categorization as a result of decisions at CFD. Other functions may be available in the future.
What AMbot does
- AMbot is an AWB bot.
- AMbot takes instructions from its operator to get started and then may run in automatic mode once started on a task.
- Takes instruction from its owner to delete categories or recategorize based on instructions at WP:CFDW.
- AMbot is able to do some tasks which normally would require manual editing, such as those found at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Working/Manual#Multiple merge targets.
Approval status
- Task 1: category add/rename/delete for CFD/UCFD approval at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/AMbot at 10 epm per [1].
- Task 2: category tagging and tag removal for group nominations approval at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/AMbot 2 at 5-6 epm.
