Adam Malec is a multi-instrumentalist and a song writer. He is the brain behind the instrumental part of the experimental pop duo, Procedure Club. As a teenager, he moved with his parents to USA from Przeworsk, a small town in south eastern Poland, literally days before the fall of the communist government. All his life he was devoted to music in all forms. He never thought of perusing any professional career in it. Professional approach to music to Malec seemed like a really "adult" and boring thing to do. He hated music lessons and professional musicians. As a teenager, he was recruited as a drummer to a polish rock cover band. Despite the success of the band among the east coast polish immigrant community, he never felt satisfied with it. In 1998 he formed Groovski the band enjoyed a small local success in New Haven, Connecticut. The band opened up for Brian Jonestone Massacrein 2001, Dan Decon. In 2004 Groovski toured with a popular polish punk band, Armia In 2004. In 2005 the band went to Operation B festival in Tallinn, Estonia. In 2007 they broke up. The year after he started Procedure Club with Andrea B. The band enjoyed a mild success after releasing their critically acclaimed album "Doomed Forever" on June 22, 2010 on the influential indie label, slumberland records. The record was considered one of the most important events in Connecticut indie scene in year 2010, according to the New Haven Advocate, The Hartford Advocate and The Fairfield Advocate. They were featured in Hartford Courant, NPR's Needle Drop and numerous other international music blogs and magazines. Adam Malec lives in New Haven, CT.
