Há apenas duas barreiras no caminho de Luke:o novo surfista que veio de uma outra cidade(Andy Shephard) e que também ambiciona ocupar a vaga na equipe, e seu pai que insiste para que Luke desista dos sonhos e estude.Quando uma tragédia terrivel acontece,Luke é forçado 

a encarar a vida seriamente e, com a ajuda de sua futura linda "namoradinha da igreja", Emilly(Kelsey Sanders)e do pastor da juventude(Danny Smith), Ele vê que há muito mais a se fazer do que ficar pegando onda.
