Mag. Dr. S. Amin Talab, LL.M. (Manchester) is an European expert on (intercultural) negotiation and author and co-author of 3 bestsellers.[1]
Biography
First on stage with the Vienna Boys Chorus at the early age of 9 he found satisfaction in addressing big audiences. His law studies started in Vienna, Austria and brought him to compare different legal systems in his dissertation on the Law of Public Companies from an Economic Perspective (subsiquently published by Wiener Universitätsverlag). His Masters of Law and Economics was awarded by several European Universities (Vienna, Hamburg, Manchester). During his Ph.D. program he also enjoyed a year-long sejourn in Melbourne, Australia. During his studies he worked as financial Consultant and later was lecturing students of in contract and European law. As his audiences kept becoming bigger, his career started as a speaker and trainer in law and sales, and subsequently in conflict management, negotiation and communication skills.
In 2000 he started his own company, the institute for communication.
He first became known to a larger audience for his best-selling book The Master Negotiator ISBN 978-3-9502269-5-9 in 2011, and has also written books on moderation techniques and mediation.[2]
His latest research has been done in the field of www.in-mediation.eu with Brigitte Slepicka and Arthur Trossen.
