WP has become an abject echo chamber of leftist-ideology self-referentially deemed "reliable" by near uniform leftist "scholars", "academics", "news" media,  who pump out papers and articles extolling the evil of non-lefists, proclaiming that the vast majority of "political violence" is via the right wing by cherry-picking data and conflating non-political violence by extremists on the right to be inherently politically motivated (white-supremacist asshole murders wife in domestic violence, it's "right wing extremist political violence"), but quietly ignoring things like, you know, routine riots by the left. Charlie Kirk's assassination, one of the most high profile - if not the highest profile - instance of deadly political violence since the 1960's - why, it's a mere inconvenience and distraction - and a good time to create new articles "detailing" in sundry ways what a horrible racist, misogynist white supremacist, fascist person he was, all evidence to the contrary carefully elided.

The passing of Charlie Kirk has only amplified this. We have editors on article talk pages overtly calling anyone who does not have antipathy towards Kirk a "nazi bitch" who deserve to be punched, calling anyone who isn't on the left a "Trumpie", "Trumper", "fascist", etc., while just tossing [[WP:CIVILITY|civility]] rules to the wind - because the commenters are almost all in agreement that non-leftists are horrible fascist nazi white supremacist misogynist retards, so they won't get pushback on their execrable behavior. 

It's a sad place we're in. I used to be a center left democrat, and voted that way - albeit without regard to what party the candidate declared, but rather their general tendencies towards the center rather than the extremes. The (formal) democrat party has been completely captured by wild-eyed far left extremists, who've intimidated the vast, centrist majority into silence. And that is ultimately at the cost of much of a future for the formal democratic party. Which may or may not be a good thing in the long run.

This isn't a discussion, it's a declaration, it's HIDDEN from the eyes of general encyclopedia readers, and I'm not interested if you wish to bloviate any hatred - or in the unlikely event, even agreement - in my direction.
