ArcLab is an Education Technology company headquartered in Singapore. ArcLab’s easy-to-use Nano Learning platform allows users to create modules for their learners. ArcLab is provided to users as Software-as-a-Service, and can be used within the user’s existing HRMS/ LMS, without the need for any software download or installation. ArcLab's vision is to upskill the world's deskless workforce through building the world's simplest learning system ArcLab Basic is a free version of the Nano Learning platform, offering basic features and content. It is also available in ArcLab PRO, with upgraded functions and Learner Analytics. Under ArcLab Enterprise, ArcLab’s learning designers help organisations design and develop Nano Learning modules, for delivery to their workforce. ArcLab was founded in April 2018, with James Chia as CEO and Steven Chan as CTO. ArcLab has since grown exponentially, expanding their customer base and working with companies such as Fei Siong Group, 4 Fingers Fried Chicken, Singapore University of Technology & Design, and many other organisations.
In July 2018, ArcLab joined AWS EdStart.
In August 2018, ArcLab launched its Minimum Viable Product at SMU Academy.
In February 2019, ArcLab launched ArcLab PRO. ArcLab PRO offers upgraded features to ArcLab Basic, targeting L&D managers and training managers who create their own workplace learning. It offers: Unlimited Nano Learning modules, full content and screen types, full rich media asset libraries, allow users to upload their own videos, full dashboard and notifications, individual and aggregated learner analytics data, private and public learner community, and it works seamlessly with user’s existing HRMS/LMS.
In February 2020, ArcLab joined the pioneer class of EduSpaze accelerator, backed by Enterprise Singapore.
In April 2020, to support organisations battered by COVID-19, ArcLab launched a complimentary COVID Mobile Resource Pack and waived ArcLab Enterprise fees. The COVID Mobile Resource Pack includes a free “Work From Home” module series, and an e-book “Your Organisation’s Nano Learning Playbook”, demonstrating how organisations can use Nano Learning to augment training and create a more productive workforce. ArcLab’s message to organisations was to “Upskill for the Upturn”, to seize the temporary business lull to upskill
In June 2020, ArcLab was featured in Holon IQ’s inaugural SE Asia EdTech 50.
A notable collaboration earlier in 2021 was ArcLab’s collaboration with Fei Siong Group, (and are still working together till present day). ArcLab made learning easily accessible for Fei Siong Group’s older generation of workers through modules that are easy to navigate and modules in the dialects spoken by the older generation of workers.
In March 2021, ArcLab was the only EdTech in Singapore to be invited to present at The Economist Tech for Change Asia Week.
ArcLab is backed by Tinkertanker, AWS EdStart, Spaze Ventures (EduSpaze) and Bisk Ventures.
