BARTON12 (Emily Barton) was born on the 24th February. She attended a local first school and soon joined her Junior school career before she knew it. She had a tough first year and got bullied. She soon at the beginning of year 4 and was homeschooled until she joined high school. She now is having a fantastic high school career.

During year 7 Emily took place in some different activities which included, history quiz, The Talent Show, and has done a reading challenge and has got her half way on her silver medal. Emily has also made a band of which is Identity (on Facebook and Twitter @identitymusical). At first it was very hard for Emily herself and most of all because of some hurtful things that were said about her, during and after she kicked someone out of Identity. She was also very hurt after three members of her band left the band and still today doesn't know why, she feels awkward know by being with her best friend. Her best friend (apparently) was also being disrespectful behind Emily's back, there were occasions were she would be walking to form with her BEST FRIEND (not the mean one) and starting just to burst out in tears because she doesn't know what she has done. When they left they made a band of their own, but when Emily tried to make peace she was soon cut off. Emily has pretty much given up now, but is thinking of starting another band. The other girl has rubbed it in Emily's face of how good her band is, knowing they are having trouble in Identity at the moment. Emily to this day doesn't want anything more to do with her.

When Emily decided to do a solo in the talent show her best friend Emily asked to do a duet together, Emily of course said yes because she didn't want to upset her. Emily (best friend) knew Emily was doing a solo as well as a duet, but when Emily had her audition on the Tuesday she felt so much pressure being by herself, and dropped out of the audition on Thursday with Emily, but she didn't mind because she wasn't feeling to great because of recent illness. Emily got dropped out of the whole competition even though she only wanted to drop out of the duet, but she didn't mind because she doesn't really like being in the spotlight unless she has to.

Identity should be doing Battle Of The Bands 2013 and Emily is hoping they get through to the next round. Even though she has until November to get ready she is starting to get the music backing right by going extra hours with her drummer after school hours.Emily will be playing guitar throughout one of the songs and singing in the next one.

Emily is very keen on Drama, P.E, Music and Art.

Emily Sings and plays guitar, piano and Violin. She however would always choose singing over everything else because it is a lot easier and she just loves doing it. In her band Identity they are practicing I knew you were trouble and she has decided because of instrumental issues that she will play guitar throughout the song, along with her other band member playing the drums. She says "Of course I would prefer to sing but if my band need me to do something else then I know that there are two other singers to take my place"

On the 22nd of May 2013 disaster struck for Emily. Walking to school with fellow band members Georgina and Sophie, Georgina admitted that she may not be in Identity any longer because of the other band (kemical Killjoy) was more into gigs and other stuff. Emily was very hurt by this and walked behind them with one of her close friends Ellen. She admitted saying 'Georgina was always the one that didn't want to do that anyway that's why we didn't do anything like it, but if she wants to we can' . Hannah asked Georgina right in front of Emily's eyes to be in kemical killjoy. It was reported that she went into her first lesson of the day crying, for an unknown reason of what Hannah has said to her over the months. Emily couldn't take it anymore. She was so upset, yet she refused to tell her two teachers what was going on. When the teacher from the lesson pulled her out of the beginning to ask what was going on she said that she didn't want to talk about it.

In may 2013 disaster took place. Many we're very offended and don't even want to know her anymore. All this damage caused by one person, Emily's old best friend (she now dose not want anything more to do with her), but what actually happened? Emily was having difficult weeks when her band decided to waste her time, and then they blamed her on the progress on identity yet it was them delaying the progress. They soon told Emily that they were leaving Identity for good to join Hannah's band. False statements were going round the school saying that Emily was crying because of them leaving, but that was not the case. Emily was pulled out of the beginning of the lesson because she was crying because of what Hannah has done NOT the others leaving. The drummer was soon replaced but the band is no longer a girl band, but a unisex band. The drummer was replaced by one of Emily's close (ish) friends Oliver Bream, who is a very experienced drummer. There is two places for singers left which hopefully will be filled up soon. Emily hopes this will get easier, but knows it won't unless she gets this off her chest.

Emily is just starting to feel better, with all the support with jasmine and Oliver that's all identity needs to get all the way.

Emily has recently created another band called 'One Way' with Hannah Forster (singer) and herself. She is waiting for confirmation on Molly. The band is a pop band. They have not made a final decision on the band name yet though.

Emily is thinking of making a dance group, she herself is a silver ice skater and a grade six ballerina. Emily doesn't know what kind of dance they would do or what they would be called, all she hopes is that she finds the right people and they go all the way.

Emily has recently stated that she has made another band called 'One Way' but not yet told her original band identity yet. She also admits to saying to a close friend outside of school 'If Identity don't start to get serious this time, I will walk out, I am a busy person and I have been devoted around identity since they have been together'. Now that Georgina and Sophie have left the band it enables her to find new people for the band and these people are very devoted, although they are not practicing at the moment because of the drummers broken finger. The people include Herself (Emily Barton) Jasmine Puttock Oliver Bream Drew Rose And Emily Mason (only helping find people) She is currently trying to find an acoustic guitar player and think she may have found one.
