Stalcraft: X is a MMORPG set in a science fiction dystopian version of the Chernobyl exclusion zone[1] developed by the EXBO team inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. video game series[2]. It is the largest online game set in the Chernobyl exclusion zone[1]. The project was originally a Minecraft mod[2]. Originally simply called Stalcraft, it was renamed in 2024 after a update which added many new features including a expanded map, improved graphics and animations and more open world activities[1]. The main in-game currency are Rubles[3]. Players are split into two main factions called Stalkers and Bandits, these are then sub-divided into two smaller factions per larger faction. Rise and Frontier for Stalkers and Covenant and Mercenaries for Bandits. The option to join a sub-faction is unlocked when you finish the main story line[4].
