Becky Thompson is a singer/musician from MN
She has been in numerous bands..Wolverines classic jazz, Sky Blue Water Boys, Minnesota Flatts and lastly Becky Thompson and Old School She played with many inspiring artists. She worked on Prairie Home Companian where she had the opportunity to work with Vasser Clements, Josh Graves, and Chet Atkins to name a few.
She recorded a demo with Grammy winning song writer, Dennis Morgan...
Unfortunately. Rheumatoid Arthritis hit her at age 32 and made performing difficult for a few years. When she came back to music she recorded her first solo album on Willie Murphy's label Atomic Theory. This album went national. Touring was difficult though and decided to go back to school for computers in 1988.
She worked in IT for the next 31 years while playing when she could. The last 18 years with Old School.
