Three years ago Brian ran across the country to raise money for wounded Marines. His journey started in MCRD San Diego,CA and traversed across the southern border states finishing off in MCRD Parris Island, SC. It covered roughly 3200 miles and took Brian 104 days. Pushing a stroller the entire way Brian carried everything he needed for the trip and picked up anything else he needed along the way.  For Brian it was quite an adventure and as he will tell you it was quite an eye opener as well. He was fortunate to have the support of his Marine brothers and sisters, countless friends from the running community, close personal friends and the generosity and support of strangers and new friends.

Brian's run took him over mountains, through the dessert  and across the flat lands of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and  Alabama. He traveled along the  border highway and through major metropolitan areas like El Paso, Dallas, and Atlanta. He also ran through a number of small towns and cities dotted across the south. Everywhere he went he was met with kindness, friendship and support. To this day he has maintained many new friendships as a result of his journey. Along his adventure he experience first hand the singular ability of people to come together and cross cultural divides for a greater purpose.

Unfortunately, Brian also bore witness the depravity of what has become of our once great country. Along the way he discovered a broken and forgotten land with the countryside dotted with the remnants of once vibrant and bustling communities forgotten and reduced to shells of their former selves. Communities broken and abandoned from the very people sworn to support them. With every mile he covered he became more and more frustrated, disappointed and angry. What sort of country are we that we would allow this to happen. How  could we turn our backs on the very people that need our help the most.  That's why somewhere in the dessert Brian decided that something had to done. Somebody had to speak for those forgotten people. That somebody he decided had to be him.

Brian was always one to believe that in the absence of true leadership it was his obligation to step up and fill the void. Here we are two years later and after months of planning and preparation Brian has decided the time was now to put into action his plan to bring the country back together and heal it from the cancer that has eaten away at it's soul.

As a Marine Brian is distinctly suited for the challenges ahead of him on his journey to the White House. The Marines have philosophy that if you take care of your troops the mission takes care of itself. Brian believes that the same holds true to a nation and it's people. If you take care of the people, the nation takes care of itself. It is with this idea in mind that Brian has fashioned a plan to restore faith, hope and unity to our once great country and heal a divided nation.

Join Brian as he takes on the establishment and unites us with a singleness of purpose for a revived hope and a renewed sense of unity, progress and prosperity.  It's time change our rhetoric from hate and fear to hope and love.  Only together can we achieve the greatness that we are destined for.
