Poet and Song Writer, Christopher Thor Britt (CT Britt) has been writing for over 20 years. Born into a large family in 1971, he is the youngest of a household of 8 children.

Born in Jackson, Michigan, Britt attended college and married Darlene Lyn Estey of Jackson in 1991, prior to joining the Air Force near the end of the first Persian Golf war.

After 13 years of service in military law enforcement and security, including post 9/11 deployments in support of Operations Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom, Christopher now resides with his wife of over 20 years, and his 10 year old son in South Florida, USA.

He studied poetry under Professor Michael Joyce at Jackson College, in Michigan. Greatly influenced and inspired by early British, Irish and American poets such as Shakespeare, Yeats, Spencer, Thoreau, Longfellow, Lord Tennyson and Henley, he writes in the "language" of poetry, often classically without regard for the modern verbiage of some of his contemporaries.

His writing style is sometimes cryptic, sometime straight forward, but always inspired, drawing deeply from the well of poetic expression.
