Anthony Fairclough

Anthony Fairclough (born 1976). He has spent his life in and around the "Beautiful game".

Anthony Fairclough rejoined the club as Director of Commercial Affairs in September 2008. Mr Fairclough, who left Turf Moor in July 2006 to become Chief Executive of Wrexham Football Club, said: "I am sorry to be leaving Wrexham, but excited to be returning to Burnley where I enjoyed seven wonderful years as Commercial Manager. "The club is going through an exciting time on and off the pitch and I don't think there could be a better time to be back. "It's a great honour and wonderful that the club feel I can do a job in terms of what I feel I achieved before. "Everything is on the rise and it's exciting times for Burnley and I really want to be a part of it."

Commenting on the appointment, Burnley FC Chief Executive Paul Fletcher MBE said: "I am delighted to welcome Anthony back to Burnley Football Club. "He has a track record of being able to sell the football product and, as we gear up in every aspect, he is highly qualified and knows the club inside out. "He was head hunted away from the club a number of years ago, but we are pleased to see him back at an important time in our future plans."

Anthony was born in Burnley and lived in Preston, Lancashire during his early life, attending St Theodores RC High School then deciding to follow a foundation degree in Fine Art and Graphics at Nelson and Colne College of Arts.
