2010 To-do List
Overland Trail and related
- General purpose expansion of Overland Trail - research emigrant use (rather than just stage), find some solid statistics, and otherwise cleanup my poor prose. Perhaps do a better job of describing the trail through Colorado. Pictures would be nice.
- Denver Road - Describe the stage route between nothern Colorado and Denver
- Bridger Pass - ?? Might not be notable enough
- Camp Walbach - fixup and reference. Not directly on the Overland Trail, but related as it was on the path from Fort Laramie to the Overland Trail east of Laramie.
- North Fork Cache la Poudre River - Add infoboxes and improve with relation to the trails that used it.
- Fort Sanders (Wyoming) - Find references relating the demise of Fort Halleck (Wyoming) due to the construction of Fort Sanders
- Howard Stansbury - Write article
Done - Camp Collins - Massive cleanup
- Elk Mountain
- William O. Collins - Write article (sub to-do: What does the O stand for?)
- Caspar Collins - Worth an article while I am researching the family?
- 11th Ohio Cavalry - the most prominent of the troops stationed at Camp Collins and Fort Halleck, but by no means the only one.
- Colorado War - Could probably be better.
- Laramie, Wyoming - Could use a rewrite
- Joseph Alfred Slade - terribly inaccurate - could use a complete rewrite and further attention on the Overland Trail, in which he had a huge role.
- F.T. Bryan - Notable enough? His expedition probably is.
- Add Category:Overland Trail where appropriate
