Danny Cohen is a senior at Rice University who is double majoring in Political Science and Economics and is minoring in Poverty, Justice, & Human Capabilities. Danny is of Jewish ethnicity and practices Messianic Judaism, a small sect of the greater Jewish religion. He moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to Houston, Texas, where he currently resides. His academic interest in addition to his specializations are philosophy, sociology, literature, and history. At Rice, he is actively involved with the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy as a event coordinator for the Institute's student forum. The Rice Young Democrats, Nocturnal (a co-ed a capella group), and Central Committee-the student government of Lovett College, which is one of Rice's residential colleges,- and the Gateway Program for the Study of Leadership are his extracurricular activities.
