Taro

18.1: Ambushes and ‘beats’ Jusenkyo victims by turning them into cursed forms. Attacks a prepared Ranma, but has an evident disadvantage in human form.

18.2: Transforms into monster and beats Ranma-chan with a single blow, while she’s still partially distracted in surprise. Chased away by Happosai, but kidnaps Akane as a hostage. Revealed that he’s searching for the Jusenkyo visitor who cursed him as an infant.

18.3: Breaks into the Tendo house. Finds out that Happosai cursed him, but is easily beaten unconscious. Captured. Refuses to tell Ryoga where he hid Akane and insults him. After offered sympathy by Ranma he’s still contemptuous in return. He flies away towards his hideout, accidentally stuns himself with a blow to the head, and sends Ranma & P-chan spiralling towards the ground.

18.4: Attempts to murder Ranma as he finds her unconscious on a log. Tricked to charge into the toothed side of a floating tree trunk, and injures his arm. Helped by Akane to bind his wound, but still won’t set her free. Reveals that the curse is not the reason for his grudge.

18.5: Lures the Jusenkyo victims to a hill filled with water traps. Gives a helpless Ranma an injury to the arm to ‘even out their fight’.

18.6: Smugly cheats repeatedly during his fight with Ranma. Intends to kill her.

18.7: Turns to bull. Tries to kill Ranma & Akane with a boulder. Fights Ryoga, and then Ranma, Ryoga, Shampoo & Mousse at the same time, but is outmatched against all of them.

18.8: Tries to kill Happosai and doesn’t mind if Akane is included. Eventually captured and tied up. Reveals that he isn’t angry about the curse.

18.9 Beaten up when he refuses to reveal why he’s being such a troublemaker. Tries to stop Ranma from hearing the information through Happosai. Angered when Ranma calls him ‘pantyhose guy’ and bites him in the foot. Happosai eventually remembers that it’s because he was baptised ‘Pantyhose Taro’ as a baby. Embarrassed and flees when everyone starts to call him by his full name. Transforms and attacks but is instantly beaten by Happosai. Reveals that by tradition only the one who baptised him can change the name. Depressed and cries about his fate. Offered help by Ranma.

18.10: Refuses to apologise for all the trouble despite being offered help, room & board. Beaten up by Ranma, Ryoga & Soun. Agrees to carry Happosai out of the country if they get his name fixed. Contributes to a silly play, which convinces Happosai he will steal all the pantyhose in the world unless his name is changed. However he decides to kill Taro instead.

18.11: Almost beaten to death by a rampaging Happosai. Saved by Ranma, but is angry that he screwed things up. Severely depressed when Happosai decides to give him other underwear-inspired names. When Ranma, Akane, Ryoga & Shampoo manage to convince Happosai to go with Taro’s decision (‘Handsome/Awesome Taro’) he finally thanks for the help and flies away while carrying Happosai to China, but is disappointed when he quickly reconsiders.

23.1: Shown to have repeatedly saved attractive, grateful young women from rampaging animals while in China, but been too mortified to reveal his name when asked, further motivating him in his quest. Visited Jusenkyo to get amplified power through bathing in the octopus spring, and to sample ‘Spring of good Samaritan’ water for Happosai, to make him change Taro’s name (accidentally grabs ‘Spring of drowned twins instead’). Returns to Japan and hides lingerie in his tentacles which successfully completely distract, trap and beat up Happosai. He refuses an ‘unnecessary’ offer of help from a ‘cowardly transvestite’ like Ranma and brags about ‘beating’ Happosai, but neglects to mention that he remains completely overmatched without trickery.

23.2: Reticent to listen to Ranma’s explanation for stopping him, but is more than willing to kill Ranma for the water. States that he hasn’t learned any new attacks, but taken the Jusenkyo power shortcut again. Again cheats against Happosai by using lingerie traps.

23.4: Dejected after learning that his mission for a normal life was doomed from the start and that Ranma, Genma & Soun weren’t fighting to stop him, but to save them all from two Happosais. Despite being shown sympathy by Ranma & Soun he decides to turn into twins and kill them all out of spite. Soun states that Taro-monster would need an army of twins to match Happosai.

32.1: Has seemingly given up on (or at least lost focus from) getting his name changed. He remains ungrateful and very rude towards Soun & Ranma despite that they just let him recover at their home after finding him badly beaten. He tries to kill Rouge while she’s in helpless human form, in revenge for assaulting him. After nearly the entire Tendo household believes someone they just met over himself, he’s angered and flies away in monster form (destroying the bathroom door in the process).

32.2: Unwilling to ask anyone for help due to not having any friends. He’s initially contemptuous about Ranma’s offer of assistance. Angered about being falsely accused of peeping and stealing. In flashback, leaves Rouge alone despite being assaulted with rocks.

32.3: Vengeful towards Rouge for all the trouble she put him through and doesn’t want to return her ‘source of power’ after finding it, just learn how it the use it so he can assume her power for himself. (Actually it’s simply magnetic shoulder plasters). Catches the plummeting Rouge just to get the pleasure of personally crushing her to death in his hand.

32.4: Briefly touched about having his life saved by Ranma, but still calls him a faggot and is angered by being called Pantyhose. During the team-up battle he starts to hit Ranma and later lashes out at him simply for being annoyed.

32.5: Casually betrays Ranma after the latter manages to almost knock ‘Asura’ unconscious and accidentally reclaims the ‘source of power’, grabs him from behind and gleefully tries to kill him. Shows remarkable manoeuvrability and managed to dodge Rouge’s lightning-storm until hit due to holding on to a frying pan (with the ‘source of power’). Even after learning about the nature of the plasters he’s clueless enough to think that they will make him powerful enough to take over the world.
