Growing up in the suburbs of New York City, Danielle did not always aspire to work as an actress. Thrust on stage in high school by a friend who "thought she had a good voice and noticed she could carry a tune," she first graced the stage in the background, taking random acting classes only to fulfill art requirements in school. She began college in 2002 at Fordham University with the intent to pursue International Law with a strong interest in foreign language and politics, having taught herself five languages by the age of eighteen. A penchant for writing led her to try her hand a screen writing during her first year as an undergrad, but she quickly realized her passion for acting after performing in a Greek tragedy in a principal role, and left Fordham to study at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. During her time at Stella Adler, she was accepted in to the State University of New York at Purchase, where she majored in Cinema Studies. During her time at Purchase College, she expanded her performing by making a switch to film working on student films, commercials and various other projects, all the while continuing to perform in local theatrical productions. She went on to study for a short period with the famed Upright Citizens Brigade and worked with the TriBeCa Film Festival from 2007 - 2009 in the All Access department. Post college, Danielle accepted several positions working as a voice over and make-up artist, as well as a production assistant to both major motion pictures and student films to expand her knowledge of the industry. She continues to work as an actress present day, having expanded her experiences by taking on modeling work as well.
