Luke Knowles is a 3rd generation newspaper publisher from Carroll, Iowa. Born in Denison, Iowa June 24, 1976, where his grandfather, Richard R. Knowles owned and published the Denison Bulletin and Review. His father, Gregg Knowles moved his family to Sac City, Iowa where he purchased the Sac Sun newspaper in 1979. In 2000, Luke Knowles purchased his own newspaper, The Carroll Today, at which he became an award-winning journalist, columnist, creative artist and advertising executive. In 2007, he founded Beyond Imagination Marketing Strategies which served clients throughout the United States and Europe.
