Quick bio

My name is Dominique François, I appeared 35 years before the year 2000 in the "hautes Vosges" mountains. I am married and dad of three adorable girls. Doctor in computer science, graduate of the LORIA (university of Nancy, Lorraine) with a project of speech recognition on a hybrid system containing neurons networks and expert system, I currently work with the rectorat (vice-chancellorship ?) of the academy of Nantes.

After a small decade spent to occupy me of architecture and operating system, I work there as coordinnator du Etna project, aiming at conceiving an accessible extranet starting from a gate Web which intégre notement the management of the identities. I make moreover function of assistant RSSI there.


Meanwhile I made a small passage by the IRCAM, which happiness, to develop an editor/analyzer of signal, Xspect [1].

My fields of predilection

  1. geographical Information and all that is seen sky, therefore Google Earth
  2. photos, panoramas
  • then inevitably 1 + 2: photo geolocalisation !...
  • all that flies.
  • it computer scien... hmmm do not say it to my wife; -)
    • in particular fields of my trade: the system, techno of the Internet,…
    • and well on all that is (ruffle) one day in numerical form!.
