I'm in a quandary about what personally identifying information to share with the world on this page. I'm perfectly comfortable describing myself to any individual, but I'm quite leery of writing a description of myself that can be personally connected with me, indexed, and used who knows how by corporate or government entities that may or may not have the adversarial interest with me somewhere down the road.

All that said, I'm a college educated American, working around the edges of IT professionally and in volunteer activities. I have a great optimism that contributions to community will make the world a better place for all, not the least the contributors. I have a full time job working for a large organization.

My wiki useability philosophy: like the original wiki founders, I think that effective text communication should rely more on content than on format.
