Founded in 2004, Great Lakes Institute of Management (also known as Great Lakes”) is a business school in India with campuses in Chennai and Delhi NCR. Great Lakes was founded by Dr. Bala V Balchandran, J.L. Kellogg Distinguished Professor of Accounting and Information Management at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA.
Great Lakes’ Chennai campus offers a one year full time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) and a two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). It also offers several programs for executives which include Post Graduate Executive Program in Management (PGXPM), Post Graduate Program in Management – Flex (PGPM Flex), Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGPBA), Post Graduate Certificate Program in Healthcare Management (PGCHCM), etc.
Great Lakes was accredited by AMBA (Association of MBAs, UK), one of the three main global accreditation bodies in business education in 2014.
Great Lakes Institute of Management has a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology - USA, Yale University - USA, CUOA - Italy, University of Bordeaux – France and Nanyang Technological University – Singapore.
