D-Sarb, the Bhangra Desi sensation still a teenager, born and raised surrounded by a world of real music. He first began performing when he was just 3 years old playing Dholak alongside his father at weddings. He then went on to train under Ustad Nafees Irfan where he groomed his vocal, tabla and harmonium skills. A massive fan of Master Saleem & Sabar Koti, his talents caught the ear of Urban Desi music producer D-Boy who signed D-Sarb to his new record label, BeatCircle in 2010, and under the careful guidance of his older brother Suni Nox (also a music producer), Dj Sabbi & D-Boy, they have helped deliver music that is truly a musical family affair. ‘Music ‘n’ Me’ was released via two exclusive EP’s this in 2011. D-Boy is calling this his best work to date but only you can be the judge of that. Welcome, D-Sarb. Beatcircle released Music ‘n’ Me (EP1) in July and the EP headed straight to the number 1 spot on the I- Tunes world music album charts. ‘Dil Tera Jitena’ first broke into the music video scene with the support of Britasia TV, and then straight to radio, where it continued to gain more success and finally youtube, where it received over 7000 hits in the first week. ‘Sahan’ on the other hand, a ’] continued to remain a hot pick choice for both radio listeners and video viewers, peaking at no.2 on the Brit Asia TV Video Charts and 100,000 & counting youtube hits, alongside 'Sahan' which unexpectedly rose to almost 130,000 youtube hits. But Beatcircle felt it was high time to release a Bhangra track and video by D-Sarb to excite the fans that want to feel a different side of the young artist. Released as a single, Chanjara was a song based on a guy searching for the girl who wears the special anklets, and so the chase is on! Filmed and directed by Matt Mitchell (London Music Video), the video features UK’s very own ‘Nachde Panjabi’ dancers and introduces slick new music production from Suni Nox.
D-Sarb continued to go above everyone’s expectations and released what would be his biggest chart entry into the Bhangra Dancefloor charts VANG NACHDI. A pumping track written by Raj Gill and produced by Beatcircle World’s producer, Suni Nox, this one had ‘getting rinsed’ written all over it. Oblivious to her admirer, our dream girl dances away whilst the admirer breaks into real punjabi metaphors praising her in every way. A fun song and video totally about the chase, the music, and the girl. "Vang Nachdi" was released in May 2012 and has been taking weddings and parties around the country by storm. Bhangra floors have been shaking with the 80' inspired Bhangra sound. The track went in at number 4 on the BBC Asian Network download chart, as well as being included on the station's playlist. Also I am great a singer
