Hi, I mainly contribute to OSM up to now. Would therefore be interested to contribute regarding the coordinates. Please give me hints where to find the best documentation or templates regarding this. Didn't edit anything related yet.

I noticed there's a template for launchpad (Infobox) here Wikipedia:List_of_infoboxes#Spaceflight and just wanted to mention there's this "category" on OSM : [1].

Usage of OSM data :

  • In Taginfo [2] use "Overpass turbo" (right upper corner). Optionally filter for a region or city [3]. Choose the desired entry [4], show coordinates [5]
  • Sometimes faster : search for parameters directly via https://www.openstreetmap.org [6], "query features" (rightclick) [7], choose [8], show coordinates [9].
  • Another alternative is via OsmAnd [10]
