Syntax

{{User:DvyBot/Request|template=|category=|subcategory=|notif=|requester=}}

Usage

Remember to put the entire request on one line, multilined requests won't work (this is a bot bug, and will be fixed as the bot develops)

Parameters

template
  • Required
  • The template to be added at the top of the talkpages.
  • If there are parameters that need to be added, write them as usual, but then you have to type in (( and )) ( not{{ and }}).
  • Examples:
    • USProject
    • ((USProject|class=A|importance=High))
category
  • Required
  • The category where the pages that the templates should be added to. Only the name, no Category: in front of the name
  • Example:
    • United States
requester
  • Required
  • The requester.
  • This will be added to the edit summary on all the edits (The template <template> was added as requested by <requestor> on User:DvyBot/requests)
subcategory
  • Not required
  • yes if the subcategories of the category should also be processed, no otherwise
  • Defaults to no
notif
  • Not required
  • Comma-separated list of other templates that mark that the template shouldn't be added (the template in the request is automatically searched for, so no need to add it here)
  • Example:
    • WikiProject United States
