This box is just very slightly adapted from User: Gurch's very fine box on his own user page and is based on the Babel templates. It displays seasonal messages, styled to look like userboxes, on the appropriate dates, without one having to constantly update it. (Some of these messages are based on the existing seasonal userboxes; some are unique to this page). Visit my (user: Gurch) userpage on April 1st and you will recieve an April Fools' Day message; visit it on October 31st and it will wish you a happy Halloween. If it shows the wrong day, there is a 'purge' button on my (user: Gurch) userpage which will fix it. Says Gurch: "You are welcome to copy this page into your own userspace and add your own entries to it (the template uses {{switch}} which can be a bit confusing, but if you copy and paste an existing entry and just change the date and text it should work). Including this in your userpage as a template will not really work, however, as unless you happen to share my birthday you will get an unwanted message come March 10th."
