Hello, 

I have been on Wikipedia for some time contributing what I can and watching certain articles for vandalism, professionalism, and accuracy.

A little bit about me I am a Software Engineer that lives in Pittsburgh PA with my wife and 3 Basset Hounds, Lucy, Bubbles, and Bitsy. So of course I watch articles about technology and Basset Hound's.

The basset hound article is quiet the article its change history is amazing. There are always small wars going on mainly between self proclaimed wiki guardians and people like myself who actually own these dogs and have done extensive research on them. The internet is really dry when it comes to information about this wonderful breed so I try to keep the wikipedia article up to date and informative. Recently the wars have been over the pictures on the page and the names of the dogs being listed. I didn't personally think the names degraded the article but I was ok with there removal. However the photos are being dropped and the article rearranged so that it matches the beagle article. I liked that each color of the breed was represented by a photo, nowhere on the internet (and I have searched for hours) shows a gallary of the colors like the article does so I will continue to fight to keep it like it is
