I enjoy using Wikipedia and appreciate the sincere collaborative effort of the amateur and professional contributors. My contributions come mostly from biographies or articles I have read from legitimate sources that practice 'fact-checking', such as the NY Times, The New Yorker Magazine, etc. For example, I have just finished reading the12 month diary (Year 1977) by EJ Kahn Jr, a contributor to The New Yorker for over 50 years. If he includes an anecdote or observation, I may add it to the page belonging to the event or individual. I am open to instruction and suggestions. Thank you, and please support Wikipedia.
