Edward Jaser is an IT expert, he obtained his PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Surrey (United Kingdom) in 2005. He received his Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Heriot-Watt University (United Kingdom) in 1999. He has 15 years of experience working as a Researcher and IT Expert at the Information Technology Centre of the Royal Scientific Society (Jordan). He gained significant experience in developing, designing and managing IT solutions. He also gained considerable experience conducting and managing research activities. He worked as Business Software Analyst and Project Manager for a EuropeAid project in Syria which aimed at developing a pilot e-government application. He was the project manager of a number of research projects and was a member of several EU funded projects (FP6: Med-IST and InfrArtSonic) and (FP7: JOIN-MED, EU-JordanNET and IJERA). As of October 2010, he is working as a researcher and a university professor lecturing IT courses at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Jordan.
