((Eunuchs and Nymphomaniacs))

At the end of Chameleon In A Candy Store the anonymous narrator is selling his books through a fake dating profile he created using intimate photos of his ex-girlfriend. But at the beginning of Eunuchs And Nymphomaniacs the profile is removed due to complaints of cat-fishing. He now needs to sell the thousands of self-published books he still has on hand. With this in mind he sets up a table on Prince Street in downtown Manhattan. Street-vendors, con-artists, vagrants, fashionistas, Instagrammers, celebrities and locals all make an appearance. Meanwhile, feeling guilty about using his ex as click-bait the narrator becomes determined to win her back. He asks her out on awkward, ambiguously themed “dates” where she, glad for the opportunity to avenge herself proceeds to torture him with hope.

This continues for three years.

One day a celebrity rapper browsing at the table posts a photo of Diary of an Oxygen Thief on his Instagram and the book goes viral. But this success is dampened by the discovery that the narrator’s ex has been seeing someone for the preceding three years. He is humbled to discover she resumed the long term relationship she’d been in before they met.

If this wasn’t stressful enough he is expected to produce another book.

To do this he harnesses the talents of a glamorous artist/model/photographer and invites her to co-produce Aisling’s book of photography first mentioned in Diary Of An Oxygen Thief. This is the coffee table book of true-life, true-love, photo-essays the narrator was terrified he'd be featured in. The irony is that now he’s become a successful writer/self-publisher/marketer he should be the one to green-light the very book Diary of An Oxygen Thief was written to prevent.
