Mike Taylor (born August 29th, 1982 in Tarzana, California) is a professional street skateboarder. His stance is regular.

Taylor is sponsored by Alien Workshop, Thunder Trucks and DC Shoes.^[1]

Mike Taylor's first sponsorships where Maple Skateboards, Red's Bearings and Bones Wheels. He then got on Santa Cruz's team. Taylor's first big video part was in 2001 in Logic #6 a skateboarding video magazine, about half of the footage used was from his "sponsor me" video. This early video included other other skaters who would later become big names, including Daewon Song and Paul Rodriguez. Taylor join Kareem Cambell's skate team, City Stars for a while after Logic #6. His part in In Street Cinemacaught the attention of Transworld Skateboarding's and helped to land him a part in In Bloom. Transworld is a huge launching point for skaters as it is one of the biggest names in skateboarding magazines. Kareem Cambell even expresses in the video that Taylor will end up being a very important skateboarder. Rob Dyrdek offers Taylor a spot on Seek Skateboards and Taylor leaves City Stars to join Dyrdek's team. Seek skateboards was a branch of DNA Distribution which also included Habitat and Alien Workshop, two other large skateboard companies.^[2]

In 2004 Taylor joins DVS Shoes, this marks a big point in his career since a shoe sponsorship is generally the most profitable sponsorship for a skateboarder. In 2005 DVS released their video Skate More with Mike Taylor as their opening skater. Seek Skateboards eventually goes under and Taylor is asked to join one of the sister companies Alien Workshop, who is his current board sponsor. In 2008 he moves from DVS to Etnies, and picks up a sponsorship with Thunder Trucks. After almost 3 years with Etnies he is moves to DC Shoes in 2011.^{[3] [4]}

DVS: Skate More (2005) is a skate video produced by DVS Shoes. The video stars Zered Bassett, Mike Taylor, Steve Berra, Jereme Rodgers and Daewon Song. Skate More is DVS's only full length team video. The opening skater is Mike Taylor, who gives a little comical dialogue about the frustration involved in skateboarding. Kerry Getz into involves more throwing and breaking skateboards out of frustration. Keith Hufnagel is third in the line up and has a part filled with very fast paced skating, including lots of large gaps and quickly ollied gaps. Daewon Song closes the video, his intro is montage of bails from attempting the tricks in his part. His part consists of very technical skateboarding that is signature of Daewon Song. The Besides the skateboarding Skate More is characterized by its quirky abstract art animations that appear during the intro and between each skater's part.
