Edith Meserve Atkinson (?1891-1983) was the first female judge in Dade County, Florida serving on the juvenile court for two terms from 1924 until 1933 but was defeated in 1933. She also founded the Girl Scouts in Miami and helped organize the Greater Miami Boys Club Foundation. Her husband was Henry Atkinson a county court judge. Born in Maine.
Associated with the Phi Delta Delta legal fraternity for women.
