To Do Someday: Colobus (Misspelled: Colubus)

Even after many readings of the word spelled properly ("colobus"), I searched for the "olive colubus" ("u" instead of "o"). I made a redirect for the search phrase "olive colubus" to point to the Olive colobus article. There are at least a few other colobus pages, I would like to go back and create misspelling redirects for "colubus" in all cases, unless it appears that the pages are getting quickly deleted. Here is the edit summary text I used for Olive Colubus: "created redirect for Olive colubus, to Olive colobus (i misspelled this word when trying to search for it, and almost didn't catch my own mistake... I think it is time for the misspelling to redirect)"

To Do Someday: red flags searchphrase

If someone is looking for a list of red flags, "red flags" won't get them there, it takes you to an article about the political meaning of red flags which doesn't even have a link to the list of flags by color section on red flags. I just want to be sure links are added to the current red flags page so people could find the list of red flags. List_of_flags_by_color#Red_.28Gules.29 Also, I'm pretty sure there is a wikimedia commons page with pictures of all red flags, maybe there can be an external link to this, on the List of flags by color also.

To Do Someday: list of birds of ____

To see the problem, search for sea gull grey, in the search results you get a bunch of "List of birds of <country>", almost all of them have the identical description for "tern" listed in their link description. It seems like a lot of duplicatino. On further investigation, all of these pages not only include the lists of birds, but also a description of that type of bird. I would think it best to link to the actual Tern page so a person could get the latest description of a Tern, but for some reason the description is duplicated over and over on all these pages. Since anybody can edit these pages, it seems like it could cause lots of errors to be introduced on the various pages. Or somebody might update one of the descriptions for a country, and not bother to update the other countries. But my concerns may not even be valid. When I get a chance I'd like to study these a little more and figure out whether this has been done for some good reason and if it should stay. I don't have time to think about it now, nor will I for awhile, too busy with work. An example of one of those pages which lists the description of a Tern at the top of the list of terns, is here: List of birds of Turkmenistan. Fallendarling (talk) 00:48, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
