Fekri Baroshi

Baroshi is a Kurdish film Producer and Director from the Barzan region of Kurdistan in Iraq. He began his career in film in 2000 starting as a television producer. His feature film debut as Executive Producer, Writer, and Director is “In the Lion’s Den” in 2007 which won the Audience award at Duhok International Film festival. His second film as co-Producer is “Flowers of Kerkuk” in 2009, and and latest feature as Executive Producer/Writer/Director is award-winner  “A Dream Before Dying” in 2018. Presently Baroshi is is behind a recently established Kurdistan Film Commission (2024).
