Hi there!


In a sentence, I'm a scientist working as a software developer within the blockchain space.

I hold a BSc Jt Hons in mathematics and computer science, a PhD in theoretical computer science, and am working on an MSc in financial engineering.

I've been editing for a long while, but never actually used a consistent username whilst doing so, instead just sticking with my IP. Decided to fix that for posterity!

I mostly tinker around with pages for mathematical concepts, functional programming, and distributed ledger technology.


Professionally, I work as the CTO for various enterprises regarding the adoption of asset-backed tokens and the concept of decentralised swarm intelligence.


I'm based in the UK - so please forgive my spelling, Americans! - and I've lived in South Africa, the United States and Singapore at various points.

I speak English, Afrikaans, and a limited amount of both Irish (thanks mum) and Mandarin.


Full disclosure: I occasionally take on jobs where I fill in details for third-parties who have requested a fleshed-out, subjective view of topics (scientific) or entities (corporate).

I'm not a fan of straight-up eliminating hatchet jobs, but I believe in giving everyone the opportunity to illustrate both positive and negative publicity.
