Biography

Prior to the attack Caradorian Saladar Caracross is the son of Carathorian Caracross. He was born in the kingdom of Androuge in the year 2700 at the end of the Second Age in Dynasty Realm. He was the only son of the king of fifth king of Androuge: Carathor (2707-2715). Carador’s father was a good friend with the Steward of Faradown, Arog, and Carador became best friends with the lord’s son, Faraduel at the age of five. Faraduel was ten at the time. The lord Carathor was slain by Sarugs in 2715, Carador kept it a secret he was his son, he wanted to be a healer for the wounded when he was old enough, not a king. Carador’s mother, Marwen, also kept it a secret for Carador. The steward of Arog resigns lordship, and Faraduel takes up the thrown, he becomes the new king of Faradown. And the kingdom of Faradown is rewarded with a new dynasty. Years went on (2720) and Carador became a Healer at the age of twenty. Marwen died from sickness the following year, Carador tried to heal her, but failed. He remained a Healer for seven years afterwards; however he was failing his healing courses. Carador shortly later left his healing courses in order to become a knight. He trained for five years with a sword and later was offered to become a knight, he gladly accepted. When being trained and observed, the commanders knew he was born to become a fighter. Carador quickly passed through the courses and tests. He was allowed to become a Hero of Androuge. A Hero is the strongest rank for a fighter. Hero’s are able to command armies into battle, and lead campaigns. For three years Carador remained a Hero. And Androuge still remained a kingless city. Androuge led an army, commanded by Carador, to the dark fortress of Aussarok; home of Saradur. Carador and the Androugen army prepare a strike to the fortress; Anaron and Faradown’s forces aid them. It was impossible for the three kingdoms to defeat Saradur and Aussarok; however they are capable of hurting its forces. The battle went on, long enough to do some great amounts of damage to the fortress, although later the army of Androuge would have to fall back. A year later (2735) of the Third Age, Carador visits Faradown for the weekend to celebrate king Faraduel’s fortieth Birthday, with just one day away from his home. The great black dragon, Arashnaug, strikes the city, the third strike in history (28, 1129, 2735). Arashnaug has been a threat for as long as Dynasty Realm’s foundations. It is one threat all must experience unless it is stopped. With knowing this, Carador heads back to Faradown to protest the dire act. The lord Faraduel commands Carador to head to the town of Banlafar, and discuss this with the viceroy, Arien, Arien accepts the terms and brings together the grand council were the best fighters in the land will unit and slay Arashnaug. While in Banlafar, Carador finds in a shop, the great sword of the king Tharagor, The Emerald-Star for sale. The swords price was much too high for his budget. In order to purchase the legendary sword, he must compete in a gruesome tournament, full of life threatening obstacles in order to win the required money, he has no trouble passing through the tournament and winning the prize to buy the sword. The next day was the grand council that Arien had created for him. They debated and argued of who was going to join Carador on his journey. He ended up with seven others, and Elven archer, Elven fighter, Human hunter, Human paladin, Human assassin, Dwarven axe-man, and a Human berserker. They travel out of Banlafar the following day, on their way to Aromer Mountain; the lair of Arashnaug. Carador successfully slays Arashnaug at the Ruins of Caracross, brining down Saradur’s greatest soldier. Carador accepts lordship over Androuge; the kingdom’s dynasty is reborn. Carador however, was not going to stop until Saradur and Aussarok are destroyed. With Carador as king, the three kingdoms are back into power.
