Tinchuley is a secluded hilly place in the Himalayas off Ghoom on the way to Darjeeling. From Ghoom it takes 2 hours to reach. The place is full of birds like mynah, sunbird etc.As per the locales there are 130 species of birds in the forests. The village consists of 80 heads with the Gurung's contributing 40.
They run a resort there complete with all amenities and excitements. In the jungle you can come across Himalayan Black Bears and if luck prevails you can come across the leopards and tigers too.
Deers are in abundance.
