Gary Soloman- is an Australian musician, singer, songwriter and actor born in Brisbane . Growing up in the Australian outback his early childhood was marked by constant traveling from town to town having attended over 25 different primary schools. His early experiences would later provide the catalyst and inspiration for his songwriting.

He started out his music career as a bass player whilst studying under the guidance of legendary session player Ron Terry. Terry introduced Soloman to several music promoters and he went on to become a much sought after bassist. playing electric bass for Johnny Young, Doug Parkinson, John Paul Young, Delilah, Colleen Hewitt, Alison Durbin, Ricky May, John St Peters, The Drifters, Bluey, The Blue Angels, Hey Gringo, Flight with Lisa Bade on vocals, Lisa Young, Robbie Grieg, The Perfect Hosts, Black Cat Bone , Sam Linton Smith, Luke Spekes Band, Samba Over the Rainbow Room, Farren Jones, Joe Geia, Pot Pourii, Vartan Madirossian, Diana White Band, Jo Dawson, Denis Walter , the Freezone with Kim O’leary –Vocals, Ross Hannaford –Guitar Vocals , Geoff Bridgord –Drums /Vocals and then a three year stint with legendary Rock musician Bo Didlley took him back to his RnB roots. In 1987 he joined three piece band "Modern Life" fronted by Bee Gees drummer Geoff Bridgford on guitar and vocals and Geoff Hassal on drums, the band recorded their debut Album "Breathing" but it wasn't until almost a decade later that the album would be released. The band quickly gathered critical acclaim for their live performances and it was the perfect vehicle for Soloman's social and environmental interests.

As a member of the Sharin Anderson Band they recorded several songs produced by Skyhooks drummer Freddie Strauks and an acoustic album recorded by Soloman and Anderson called "Airwaves" was released in 1992.

In 1994 he teamed up with Tom E Lewis,  aboriginal actor and musician, to perform and collaborate on songwriting in the band “The Anthropologists” and musical theatre projects such as  "Thumbal" morning star.

Gary Soloman’s first release was a song called "Never Been Gone" on a compilation album called "Cloudburstz Acoustic" recorded and produced by Bruce Jaques in 1994, then his first Album "Tide of Emotion" was released in the same year as well as joining the Marie Wilson band in later part of the same year. A hard working three piece band, Marie Wilson-Guitar/Vocals, Gary Soloman-Bass and Kane Holden -Drums. The trio would often perform 200 plus shows a year and established a huge loyal following throughout Australia and gained a reputation as a tight high energy band. The band would go on to have two Chart hits in Australia the first "Next Time " 1998 and "Cant keep a good Girl down” 1999, both lifted from the album "Real Life". It wasn't until 2007 that Gary Soloman released his second album "Shake that Voodoo" quickly followed by the EP "Marilyn' in 2008 . In 2010 Gary Soloman started performing and continues to perform with his daughter Tallulah Lacey under the name "GT" . He released his fourth Album "Albatross " in 2012.

Gary Soloman has had minor acting roles in “Bush Pilot", “Jack Irish", the original "Under Belly", "The Cup", "Neighbours" and “I Frankenstein" .
