Yes, brand spanking new account with absolutely no useful information, yada yada... Okay, so the only thing that I know to put here to my credit regarding Wikipedia...

This account was made in the wee hours of March 6, 2008, originally for the sole purpose of posting feedback and asking for editors' assistance regarding a page about one Ms. Rachel Marsden. This was a rather compulsive, but genuinely selfless act of intervention in response to some thankfully brief but insensitive hoopla in the media - television news AND on Wikipedia itself - regarding Ms. Marsden's then recent relationship, or actually the very unfriendly ending of it, with one Mr. Jimmy Wales OF Wikipedia.

According to the TV news at the time, Mr. Wales was said to have added multiple, salacious & vulgar "edits" to the Wikipedia page of Ms. Marsden, in a fairly juvenile response (IMO) to the termination of their relationship. I'm guessing that the break-up wasn't his idea. When I first heard about it, her page did indeed appear to have a few unnecessarily derogative comments here & there. However, by the time I created my account and figured out how to request assistance, most of that appeared to have been removed. I persisted nevertheless as I was feeling emotional and negatively biased, so I asked that someone uninvested review the page to check for anything inappropriate.

If you would care to see what I said, as I don't know if it's appropriate or allowed to post it on my page, feel free to look it up, assuming it's still available. ...and nerts and noogies to one particular male wiki user who, amidst my genuine & honest posting of my uniquely altruistic concern, presumptuously, arrogantly, and spitefully accused me of being "a troll" >:( simply because I was posting from a brand new account, and thus had ZERO history of editing here. Excuse me that I'm STILL not one to presume that I know enough on many subjects to do such a thing, even now, 14 years on. :P

As for anything else about me, since I still feel new and fairly clueless about what should or shouldn't be put here, that can wait, until I have a clue what to put, or at least until I have anything else relevant to say! Toodles.  :)
