Nathan Joseph Meyer, born June 8, 1977 in Kitchener, ON. Journalist and advocate. At the age of seven during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, Nathan was inspired by sport, and resolved that one day, Toronto (Ontario provincial capital) should play host to them. The city lost their subsequent bids to host the Games for 1996 and 2008. Now, using contemporary media, Nathan promotes the benefits of Toronto hosting the Olympics, although in reality the next chance for the city to have an opportunity to bid for them will probably be in the 2020s. He graduated in 1999 in broadcast journalism and is currently a graduate student in history. Meyer has interviewed various personalities in sport and local culture. He has appeared as a host and reporter on On The Edge TV (1999-2001), as a developer of Rogers' V.I.P. Pass and as a host on a myriad of dance music radio shows, among them Club Radio developed by dance music broadcasting trailblazer Louie La Vella. Nathan has also shown talent as a dancer, and is one of a handful of people in his native Ontario to have been involved in pop culture as a dancer, radio and television host, actor, and promoter. He spends his free time between studies as a writer and designer championing various causes.
