About Me

I am Ieuan Johns, known online as HackerJack (An old nickname, I am not actually a hacker).

I was born 13th November 1979 in Swansea, South Wales, UK before moving to Ynysybwl in 1986 and then onto my current home in Port Talbot where I have lived since 2003.

I spent four years (1998-2002) studying for a BSc Computer Studie Degree at the University of Glamorgan in Pontypridd, including a year in industry at Corus Steel Works, Port Talbot. I must have done something right as Corus offered me a position as a Software and Systems Engineer. I successfully studied for an MRes in Materials Engineering at Swansea University from 2008-2012.

My main interests are computing, music and sports (participating in Rifle Shooting and Archery and watching many others).
