I hope this list won't grow too quickly, because I can't guarantee the accuracy of stuff on it (at least one of these was subsequently shown to contain significant errors). Any passing experts who felt inspired to revise or expand these articles would earn my undying gratitude.
I was given a barnstar for attempting to provide people with all the pertinent facts when I proposed an article for deletion. Now all I need is a barn to hang it on.
