Hatton's Model Railways are an independent model railway, diecast and plastic kit retailer. Founded in 1946 by Norman Hatton, the family-run company has always operated from Smithdown Road in Wavertree, Liverpool. After Norman's retirement the business was taken over by his son Keith, who died in 2008. Since then the business has been run by Keith's sister Christine Hatton. The company specialise in model railway and diecast items, and supply items from manufacturers including Hornby, Bachmann, Dapol, Heljan and Peco. The company has also worked with various manufacturers to commission exclusive OO Gauge models of the Heljan Class 14 'Teddy Bear', the Heljan Class 28 'Metrovick', the Dapol 10000/10001 and the Heljan LMS Beyer-Garratt.
