Who is HiEv?

I'm a computer programmer with a specialization in 2D computer graphic formats. I was was active on Usenet for quite a while (until Verizon Online dropped free Usenet access to the alt.* hierarchy). I'm also a former moderator of the Skepticality forums, AniDB, and the North American Perfect World wiki (under the name "Sangodoc"). I'm a long-time follower of the James Randi Educational Foundation and a proud skeptic.

"HiEv" is actually short for High Evolutionary, my old nick from my BBS days, and is pronounced "high-'ev".

I've been doing minor edits, corrections, and updates in Wikipedia anonymously for a while now, so I figured it was about time to get a user account.

If I do anything wrong, please let me know what I did and what I should have done instead. I enjoy constructive criticism.  :-)

For quick reference, here's a link to my contribution history.
